For more than two decades Wigal Group, LLC has been a major provider of residential appraisal services for primary lenders of the Kanawha Valley region. We are a West Virginia family owned and operated business. Kanawha, Putnam, Boone, Lincoln,  & Logan counties include our daily work areas.

Wigal Group, LLC specializes in appraisal analysis and compliant reporting of residential properties. Thousands of varying assignments have been completed throughout the years. They include single and multi family properties, residential property investments, a multitude of upper-valued homes for the region of more than $1 million, as well as manufactured homes and unique properties.  

We have historically handled and presently are working with a relatively large volume of federally related mortgage lending collateral evaluation assignments as well has federally insured mortgages including FHA and USDA assignments. Our systems and reporting are structured with modern capabilities that include AI ready encryption, UAD reporting, and EDI delivery.

Ensuring strict adherence to federal regulations and secondary market/GSE appraisal guidelines is always a priority. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac regulatory concerns are a well versed matter of routine.

Founder and working appraiser Scott Wigal is a graduate of Marshall University and has concentrated studies in statistical analysis & business. He began working in real estate as a licensed Realtor in Charleston in the 1980's and entered into the appraisal arena in 1996; Mr. Wigal currently holds a residential appraisal certification in West Virginia.

We are a member of the Kanawha Valley Board of Realtors, the WV Association of Realtors, as well as the National Association of Realtors.

Clients include major lenders in the Kanawha Valley as well as the FHA and WV Housing Administration.
